Lares Hot Springs

The Lares road is another alternative way to get to Machu Picchu. If you do not find space to do the traditional Inca Trail or if you have already done it, this trek is a good opportunity to enjoy beautiful landscapes, interact with native peoples, get to know rustic buildings, native animals such as llamas and alpacas and learn about a culture millennial!

The journey begins in the City of Cusco where travelers are transferred by van to Calca, a district located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There you visit the traditional markets and archaeological sites and then continue to the Lares Valley, where you can enjoy the hot springs of the place (we recommend bringing a swimsuit in your backpack or bag).

Along the way you can see different snow-capped mountains, lagoons and waterfalls. The traveler will learn about the Andean customs and the crafts that are made in the different towns. At night camps are held, this gives the visitor the possibility of contacting the nature of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and with the different camping communities.
