Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Lima + City Tour Lima

Arrival in the city of Lima.

A representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel of your choice.

In the afternoon at 14:00 Hrs. A representative of our agency will pick you up to drive you and start your tour in Lima “City of the Kings” where we will enjoy an ancient and modern city for approximately 4 Hrs.

Along the way, we will explore the Huaca Pucllana, the ruins of a civilization that flourished more than 1500 years ago. We will also visit the city center, including the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, and the Archbishop’s Palace. Lastly, we will go through the Wall Park and take a look at the San Francisco Convent’s impressive artifacts and religious chambers, as well as its underground Catacombs.

Throughout our visit we will see a Modern City where we will see the beautiful district of San Isidro, Olivar Park, the Parque del Amor, the Malecon from where you will have an extraordinary view of the Pacific Ocean and you will be able to take beautiful pictures.

Day 02: Lima – Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Huacachina Oasis (D – A).

Early in the morning, a representative of our travel agency will pick you up to start our tour.

We will travel for 4 hours to Paracas where we will have our first stop at the Marina Pier where we will pass the SERNANP control point to enter the Ballestas Islands.

This tour will take an average of 2 hours where we will dive into a wonderful marine world, we will see a large figure on the sand known as “El Candelabro”. In this tour the guide will give us an explanation of the Flora and Fauna of this place, here we will see a lot of sea lions, Humboldt Penguins and Guano Birds.

Following the tour, we will take our transport for an average of 1 Hr. more until we arrive at the “Vinícola El Catador” where we will have a succulent lunch and a tour in the wine cellars and have an exquisite tasting of wines and piscos of the zone.

Then we head towards the Huacachina Oasis where we will have an unforgettable experience sliding from a high point on sandboards through the magical desert sand after having experienced the adrenaline, we will take a walk through the Huacachina Oasis and take beautiful pictures.

At the end of the tour, we headed towards the City of Lima to rest.

Day 03: Lima – Cusco (D)

After breakfast

At the scheduled time our staff of the travel agency will pick you up to take you to the airport and take the plane to Cusco.

Arrival to Cusco. A representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel of your choice.

We will have the day at leisure to enjoy the Mysterious and Wonderful City of Cusco.

Day 04: Sacred Valley + Train Connection – Aguas Calientes (D- A)

After breakfast

On this day a representative of our travel agency will transfer us to our tourist transport to start our tour.

We will visit the picturesque colonial town of Pisaq where on Sundays the people of the communities come down for the celebration of the mass in Quechua, then we will go to the Archaeological Complex of Pisaq where we will be able to observe the magnificent platforms of Inca architecture extended in the mountains or known as platforms that had different functions.

We will pass through the villages of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba. At this point we will enjoy a buffet lunch.

In the afternoon we will visit the living Inca village of Ollantaytambo where we will have a guided visit in the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo, a gigantic military and administrative, agricultural and religious social complex in the time of Tahuantinsuyo.

At the end of our visit we will have free time to go to Ollantaytambo Station to take the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes, where a representative of our travel agency will be waiting for us to transfer us to the hotel of our choice.

Day 05: Machupicchu Full Day (D – A)

After breakfast

At the agreed time after breakfast we go to the bus station to take one of the first buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas where we can observe the magical and mysterious Inca citadel, after this experience we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex of Machupicchu for an average of 2 hours, where we can explore and the guide will give us an explanation of the function of this place in the Inca period.

Where we can explore and the guide will give us an explanation of what function this place had in Inca times, in turn enjoy the impressive Inca architecture such as: The Guardian’s House, the Religious Sector, the Intihuatana, the Temple to the Pachamama, the Industrial Sector and the impressive terraces.

We say goodbye to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and we go to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where we will have a delicious lunch in a tourist restaurant.

At the indicated time we take the return train from Aguas Calientes Station to Ollantaytambo Station, where a representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you to take you to the bus that will bring you back to Cusco.

Day 06: 7 Colours Mountain (D – A)

This day we will be picked up from the hotel very early in the morning by a representative of our travel agency. We start our tour leaving Cusco city heading south taking the road to Puno.

We will travel for 2 hours arriving to the town of Cusipata where we will have a basic buffet breakfast, after having had some time to have breakfast and relax. We board our transport for another 1 hour until we arrive at the starting point of our trek.

Here the guide will give us an explanation of the area as well as some recommendations for our hike. The duration of the hike is 2 Km. for an average of 1 hour and 30 min. During the journey we will be able to observe the natural landscapes and the experience of the Andean man.

When arriving to this new wonder the guide will explain us about the formation and content of this Mountain of 7 Colours, then we will have a prudent time of 40 min. to explore the place and to take beautiful pictures of the zone.

At midday we return to the starting point of the trek to take our transport and head to the restaurant where we will have our basic buffet lunch. Here we will have some time to relax and then take our transport that will take us to the city of Cusco.

Day 07: City Tour Cusco – Cusco Out (D)

After breakfast our representative will pass by the hotel to take us to the City Tour.

The City Tour is an excursion that includes a circuit around the city and its surroundings, we will visit: The Qoricancha considered as the Royal House of the Sun in the City of Cusco which is formed by a mixture of Inca and colonial construction.

Sacsayhuaman which is considered as a great Inca fortress where the Inca cyclopean constructions are found. Qenqo, centre of Inca astronomy. Pucapucara known as an Inca military centre and Tambomachay considered as a purification centre and water temple.

At the agreed time, transfer from the hotel to the airport and we say goodbye to the city of Cusco.
