Why the Name of the Rainbow Valley?

It owes its name to the great variety of colors that can be seen on the hills of the valley; earth colors, reddish, beige, green, white and yellow combined with white salts and the blue sky, also combine in strange formations. The colors reflect the great wealth and different concentrations of clay, salts and minerals; as well as interesting rock formations resulting from erosion.
