Although it is well known among visitors, many of these practices are part of living cultural traditions.

A short walk from the Witches' Market brings you to one of the most recognizable areas in central La Paz: San Francisco Plaza.

The San Francisco Basilica is one of the city's best-known religious buildings.

Your next stop is Plaza Murillo.
