    Your adventure begins in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire and today’s cultural center of the Andean Peru. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel around 13:00 hrs to begin a fascinating tour of the city’s most emblematic sites:

    Cusco Cathedral: Admire this impressive colonial construction, home to more than 300 paintings from the famous Cusco School, along with magnificent wood and silver carvings.

    Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun): Visit the most important religious center of the Inca Empire, an impressive example of the fusion between Inca and Spanish architecture.

    Sacsayhuamán: Explore this monumental ceremonial fortress with its three terraces stretching over 390 meters, built with massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together.

    Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay: Discover these Inca ceremonial and military centers that complete the archaeological circuit around Cusco.

    After breakfast, we will pick you up at 07:30 hrs to begin a journey through the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas, considered one of the most impressive cultural landscapes in South America:

    Pisac: We will visit both the charming colonial town and its impressive archaeological complex located at the top of the mountain, featuring magnificent agricultural terraces and ceremonial structures.

    We will continue through the picturesque towns of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca, and Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring the best of local cuisine.

    Ollantaytambo: In the afternoon, you will explore this fascinating Inca military, religious, and cultural center, considered one of the finest examples of urban planning of the Inca Empire.

    From Ollantaytambo, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), where we will spend the night preparing for the most anticipated day of the adventure.

    Breakfast at your hotel.

    Early in the morning, we will take the bus up to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

    During the guided tour, you will explore the main structures of this extraordinary archaeological complex:

    • The Main Viewpoint with panoramic views
    • The enigmatic Temple of the Three Windows
    • The precise solar clock Intihuatana
    • The majestic Main Plaza
    • The ceremonial and residential sectors

    After admiring the engineering and wisdom of the Inca civilization, we will descend to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will be transferred to Cusco.

    Optional add-on: After the guided tour of Machu Picchu citadel, you may choose to hike either Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu, two spectacular viewpoints with unmatched panoramic views of the sanctuary.

    Breakfast en route.

    Get ready for an early departure with hotel pick-up at 04:30 am. We will travel approximately 2 hours to the village of Mollepata (2,900 m.a.s.l.), where you will have time to enjoy breakfast and acclimatize.

    We will then continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of our hike and a privileged location to admire the majestic snow-capped Salkantay Mountain. From here, we will begin a 1.5–2 hour hike to reach the breathtaking Humantay Lake.

    The lake’s turquoise waters, contrasting with the snow-capped peaks and Andean vegetation, create one of the most photogenic landscapes in all of Peru. After enjoying this natural paradise, we will descend and have lunch in Mollepata before returning to Cusco around 18:30 hrs.

    Breakfast en route.

    The adventure begins very early, with hotel pick-up between 04:30 and 04:45 am. We will travel approximately two hours south to the district of Cusipata, where we will have breakfast to recharge our energy.

    We will then continue for another hour to Llaqto, the starting point of our hike to the world-famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes through stunning Andean landscapes, where you may observe llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat.

    Upon reaching the mountain at 5,080 m.a.s.l., you will be amazed by the geological spectacle: layers of mineral-rich colors creating a natural rainbow-like effect over the landscape. Our guide will explain the geological formation while you enjoy enough time to take photos of this unique natural wonder.

    We will return to Cusipata for lunch before heading back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 16:30 hrs.

The tour begins with pick-up directly from your hotel in Cusco. You do not need to go to the airport on your own; we will collect you from your accommodation.

The first day starts with the City Tour at 13:00 hrs, but if you arrive later, we can reschedule it for another day. This allows you to rest and acclimatize before starting your adventure.

Yes, all hotels have electricity available for charging your devices. Cell phone signal is good in Cusco and Aguas Calientes, but it may be weak in rural areas such as Pisac or Mollepata.

We recommend disconnecting a little—it is part of the experience. However, your guide will always have emergency communication available.

We take the bus from Aguas Calientes at 05:30 am, arriving at the entrance of Machu Picchu around 06:00 am. This allows us to enjoy the sunrise over the ruins, when the mist rises and the first rays of sunlight gradually illuminate the terraces.

Being among the first visitors helps avoid crowds and ensures better photo opportunities.
