  1. Day 01

    Tarija City Tour, Scenic Viewpoints and Folk Music Evening

    Begin your Tarija experience with a tour of the city’s main historical, cultural and scenic landmarks. During the afternoon, visit emblematic places such as the Casa Dorada, Luis de Fuentes Square and some of Tarija’s best-known viewpoints.

    The experience also reveals the city’s green spaces, elegant avenues and the surroundings of the Guadalquivir River, all of which shape Tarija’s relaxed and distinctive character.

    In the evening, enjoy a traditional folk music venue featuring cuecas, zambas and chacareras in an authentic local atmosphere.

    San Jacinto Reservoir, Tarija Wine Route and Concepción Valley

    Discover some of Tarija’s most representative landscapes and flavours. The day begins at San Jacinto Reservoir, a peaceful natural setting where you can enjoy panoramic views and learn more about the region’s local cuisine.

    In the afternoon, explore the renowned Tarija Wine Route, visiting vineyards and wineries that produce high-altitude wines and singani. The experience includes notable stops such as Campos de Solana, Casa Real and La Casa Vieja.

    You will also admire La Angostura Canyon and conclude the day with a wine tasting accompanied by traditional music from Tarija.

  3. Day 03

    San Lorenzo, Moto Méndez Museum and Coimata Waterfalls

    The final day is dedicated to the Tarija countryside, its traditions and natural scenery. Visit San Lorenzo, one of the most representative towns of Chapaco culture, known for its traditional architecture, local market and regional products.

    You will also learn about Eustaquio Méndez, known as Moto Méndez, and visit the surroundings of his former home, now a national museum.

    The experience continues in Coimata, a beautiful natural area with walking trails, clear streams and small waterfalls, before your transfer to the airport.

    Note: this programme requires a minimum of two passengers.

    Reception by our representative at Tarija airport and transfer to the selected hotel; it is recommended to take a morning flight. Our representative will assist you with check-in at the hotel.

    At the appropriate time, we will take you to a recommended restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore Tarija through its history and culture, visiting the most important landmarks of the city such as “La Casa Dorada.” We will pass through the main square “Luis de Fuentes,” and also visit the Mirador de los Sueños “La Copa del Vino” or the Mirador de los Héroes. You will walk through green areas and viewpoints that characterize the city, allowing you to discover its wide and elegant avenues along the poetic Guadalquivir River. Return to the hotel.

    In the evening, we will pick you up to visit a bohemian and authentic place with exceptional décor and the best musicians, who will perform cuecas, zambas, and chacareras for an unforgettable evening. Return to the hotel.

    *The folkloric show visit is subject to availability depending on the day the tour begins.

    After breakfast, we will visit San Jacinto, a site of great importance due to its high-tech infrastructure. We will take a walk along the lakeshore to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the region and, at the same time, taste the various fish species offered by the reservoir, such as Misquinchitos, Carps, Doraditos, Churumas, Crayfish, etc.

    Guests will have free time for lunch on their own. In the afternoon, we continue the tour through wineries and vineyards. The captivating beauty of the Wine Route in the Tarija Valley allows you to see the grapes used to produce wines considered among the highest in the world.

    We visit the modern facilities of the “Campos de Solana” winery, where we will learn in detail about the production process of its renowned high-altitude wines.

    Continuing our route, at 15:30 hrs, we will visit the “Casa Real” Singani distillery, producing grape brandy with national and international recognition.

    Later, we will visit one of the most impressive natural attractions, the Angostura Canyon, a narrow natural formation located between rocky structures where the Guadalquivir and Camacho rivers meet.

    Next, we will travel to the Concepción Valley to visit “Casa Vieja,” a mysterious winery that preserves the tradition of its wines, which are a pride of Tarija.

    After breakfast, we begin our tour of the Chapaca countryside: a visit to the town of San Lorenzo, where the culture, folklore, and traditions of the Chapaco people are born.

    Later, we will visit or observe from the outside the Eustaquio Méndez “El Moto” house, now converted into a National Museum, as well as the church and the market famous for traditional rosquetes and empanadas blanqueadas.

    Continuing with the excursion, we will arrive at “Coimata,” a place of exceptional natural beauty, where you can enjoy the pleasant climate of the Tarija Valley, its crystal-clear waters, and walking trails to appreciate its different waterfalls that make up this beautiful attraction. We will then transfer you directly to the airport for your return flight to your next destination.
