Code of Conduct Against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents - Dreamy Tours

A firm commitment against sexual exploitation

Under Law No. 28251, we adopt the following minimum commitments as a tourism service provider to prevent and combat the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.

  1. Do not offer exploitation plans

    Do not explicitly or covertly offer sexual-exploitation plans in tourism promotion programmes.

  2. Do not provide information about exploitation sites

    Do not provide tourists, directly or indirectly, information about places where commercial sexual exploitation takes place.

  3. Do not transport people to exploitation sites

    Do not take tourists, directly or indirectly, to establishments or places where sexual exploitation takes place.

  4. Do not provide vehicles for exploitation

    Do not provide vehicles on tourist routes for the exploitation or sexual abuse of children and adolescents.

  5. Prevent minors from entering

    Prevent children and adolescents from entering hotels, bars and tourism establishments for exploitation or abuse.

  6. Prevent offers of sexual services

    Adopt measures to ensure company personnel do not offer tourism services that permit sexual activity with minors.

  1. Report to the authorities

    Report to MINCETUR and the competent authorities any known acts of sexual exploitation.

  2. Design and communicate an internal policy

    Design and communicate an internal policy with measures to prevent and counter sexual exploitation.

  3. Train staff

    Train all company personnel on the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation.

  4. Inform guests of legal consequences

    Inform users about the legal consequences in Peru of exploiting and abusing children and adolescents.

  5. Display the code in a visible place

    Display this Code of Conduct and other child-protection commitments in a visible place.
