Inclusion & diversity

Travel through Peru with respect, care, and freedom.

Dreamy Tours welcomes LGBT+ travelers in Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Peru, and Bolivia. Our role is simple: create journeys where you feel seen, protected, and free to enjoy the Andes without having to explain who you are.

Pride is celebrated every June, with June 28 marking International LGBT+ Pride Day. For us, inclusion is not seasonal; it is part of how we design and operate every trip.

The Meaning of LGBT+ Pride Day

International LGBT+ Pride Day is observed on June 28 in many parts of the world. It is a reminder of the ongoing struggle for equal rights, dignity, and protection from discrimination, violence, and hate crimes.

Pride also celebrates the courage of people who chose visibility and community when the world asked them to stay silent.

1969

The Stonewall uprising

In the early hours of June 28, 1969, the LGBT+ community resisted a police raid at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, New York. That moment became one of the clearest sparks of the modern Pride movement.

Global movement

A demand for dignity

What began as resistance became a worldwide movement for respect, legal recognition, equality, and the freedom to live openly.

2009

Pride Month recognition

In June 2009, Barack Obama recognized June as LGBT Pride Month, honoring Stonewall and renewing the call for equality under the law.

2016

Stonewall National Monument

Stonewall became the first United States national monument dedicated to LGBT+ rights, preserving its place in the history of civil rights.
