FAQ

FAQ

The tour begins with your reception at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima. A Dreamy Tours representative will be waiting for you with your name and will take you directly to your hotel.

You do not need to arrange anything. From that moment on, you are under our care. The first day is free so you can rest and settle in before beginning the adventure.

Lima is known as the “City of Kings” because it was founded by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro on January 6, 1535, the Day of the Epiphany, also known as Three Kings’ Day.

Since then, the city has carried this historic name, which is still used in official and tourism-related contexts. Today, Lima is the largest capital in Peru and one of the world’s leading gastronomic centers.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas was the agricultural and ceremonial heart of the Inca Empire.

We leave Aguas Calientes very early, around 5:30 a.m., to take one of the first buses up to the citadel. We arrive at the entrance to Machu Picchu at approximately 6:00 a.m., just as the sun begins to rise.

This allows you to enjoy sunrise over the ruins, when the mist slowly lifts and the first rays of sunlight illuminate the terraces. Arriving early also helps you avoid the largest crowds.
