  1. Day 01

    Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

    Begin the journey with a visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, including the archaeological site of Pisac, its agricultural terraces and important remains from the Inca period.

    After lunch in Urubamba, continue to Ollantaytambo to explore its archaeological complex, known for its monumental stone structures, temples and ceremonial areas.

    At the end of the visit, board the train to Aguas Calientes, where a representative will meet you and assist with the transfer to your selected hotel.

  2. Day 02

    Machu Picchu – Cusco

    After breakfast, take the bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of its principal temples, terraces, stone buildings and ceremonial sectors.

    There will also be time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs. Visits to Huayna Picchu Mountain, Machu Picchu Mountain or the Sun Gate may be added as optional activities, depending on the selected circuit and ticket availability.

    Finally, return to Aguas Calientes and board the train to Ollantaytambo. From there, continue by tourist transportation back to Cusco.

    Breakfast

    We begin the 2-day tour by picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM to start our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

    Our first visit will be to the town of Pisac, where we will explore its impressive archaeological complex. We will also visit the agricultural terraces and the largest Inca cemetery with 2,000 tombs. You will have time to explore and take photos of the site.

    Continuing the journey, we will arrive in the town of Urubamba, where we will enjoy lunch. Afterwards, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park, considered a military and religious center located on a high mountain, where you can see the Temple of the Sun, the Monumental Gate, the Ñusta Baths, and many other beautiful sites.

    At the end of the day, we will head to Ollantaytambo train station, where we will take the train to continue our trip to Machu Picchu, arriving at Aguas Calientes station. A representative from our travel agency will be waiting for you and will transfer you to your hotel.

    Breakfast at the Hotel

    We will start the day with a transfer to the bus station, where we will take the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 25 minutes.

    The Machu Picchu tour offers an extraordinary experience, with a guided tour of approximately 2 hours. During the visit, the guide will lead you through the main structures of the Inca citadel, where you will learn about its stone architecture, unique buildings, and the mystery and energy of this sacred site.

    Afterwards, you may explore on your own and enjoy optional activities such as hiking Huayna Picchu Mountain or walking to the Sun Gate.

    At the scheduled time, we will take the bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant.

    Finally, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo and from there by bus back to your hotel in Cusco.

    Optional: If you wish to visit Huayna Picchu Mountain, it must be booked at least two months in advance with an additional cost of $65.00.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located in the Urubamba Province, Cusco, Peru. It is situated about 15 kilometers northeast of the city of Cusco.

The altitude in the Sacred Valley is lower than that of the city of Cusco (3,399 m above sea level). This makes the valley a good place for acclimatization.

The altitude of the main locations in the Sacred Valley is: Pisac at 2,972 m above sea level, Urubamba at 2,871 m, and Ollantaytambo at 2,792 m above sea level.

The climate in the Sacred Valley varies by season. During the rainy season, temperatures range from a minimum of 15°C to a maximum of 27°C. During the dry season, temperatures range from a minimum of 10°C to a maximum of 22°C.
