Itinerary
Day 1: Lima
At the previously coordinated time, a representative of our agency will be waiting for you at the airport in Lima to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel of your choice.

Day 2: Lima – City tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the previously scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to start the city tour. We will start with the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro.
Continuing our tour, we will go to the Historic Centre of Lima, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1991, where the center of the Spanish colony was established in the 16th century and where the first buildings were erected.
We will visit the Plaza San Martin, its balconies and old mansions, the Plaza Mayor and its most important buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s and Municipal Palace, the Desamparados Station, among others.
Afterwards, we will go to the Convent and Catacombs of San Francisco; we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. We will visit the old Library, the Choir, the Main Cloister and the underground crypts known as Catacombs.
At the end of our tour, we will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3: Trujillo – City tour + Archaeological Museum
Transfer from the hotel to the airport for your trip to Trujillo. Upon arrival one of our representatives will assist you at the station and transfer you to your hotel in Trujillo.
CITY TOUR (the days of visits are from Monday to Saturday). Our visit starts with a visit to the colonial, civil and religious monuments.
We will start appreciating the Wall of Trujillo or Baluarte Herrera, which protected the city in the XVII century; then we will continue to the Plazuela El Recreo.
We will continue our visit to Iturregui Palace, one of the most elegant in the north, Emancipation House, with its neoclassical architecture, La Merced Church, Marshal de Orbegoso’s House, Plaza Mayor and the Freedom Monument Casa Calonge Urquiaga; we will continue to the Plazuela Santo Domingo.
Next, we will appreciate the Casa del Mayorazgo de Facalá.
The tour ends with a visit to the Archaeological Museum, which shows the development of the history of the North Coast.

Day 4: Trujillo – Huacas of Sun & Moon – Huacas Moche Museum – Chan Chan – Huanchaco
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full-day excursion: we will move south of Trujillo to visit a religious center of the Mochica culture, built in the 5th century.
Enjoy the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, and then enjoy the varied local handicrafts handmade by the descendants of the Mochicas, we will visit the Huacas de Moche Museum.
Continue to the Huaca Dragon, and then visit the citadel Chan Chan (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the ancient capital of the Chimu empire (13th century) and the largest adobe city in the world.
And finally, visit Huanchaco beach where Fishermen still use ancient fishing techniques and totora reeds canoes.

Day 5: Trujillo – Chiclayo -Huaca Rajada
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from the hotel to the bus station for your trip to Chiclayo. Arrival in the city of Chiclayo. Transfer to the chosen hotel.
SIPAN – SITE MUSEUM (HUACA RAJADA): our tour of the site museum has a duration: 2:20 hours, Archaeological Complex of the Mochica culture (dating from the 2nd, 3rd century AD).
It comprises 3 pyramids, 2 very tall structures of 35 m, and a large Royal Mausoleum where 13 important tombs and other findings were found.
At the moment, in process of investigation, the reconstruction of the tomb Nº 7 “Human Sacrifices”, the tomb Nº 8 “Warriors”, the central tomb of the “Lord of Sipán” and its respective Museum of Site is shown.
Two of the most famous pre-Hispanic tombs have been found intact, that of the Lord of Sipan and that of his ancestor, called the Old Lord of Sipan.
The multi-storey burial chambers contained the skeletons covered with all the clothing and gold jewellery, such as the great pectoral, nose rings, bracelets and the sceptre of command, which they used at that time.

Day 6: Chiclayo -Full Day Tucume + Royal Tombs Museum of Sican

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SICAN: Located in the city of Ferreñafe, near Chiclayo, on the northern coast of Peru, the museum is a must for those who want to know the history from up close. The highlights are the ceremonial Tumis and the masks made of gold.
MUSEU ROYAL TUMBES: Located in Lambayeque, 11.4 km north of the city of Chiclayo. Located in Lambayeque, 11.4 km north of the city of Chiclayo.
Its construction has the characteristics of a Moche pyramidal structure, where we enter the museum exhibition rooms of the original findings of the Sipan
Archaeological Complex: Lord of Sipan, Priest, Old Lord of Sipan, and other important tombs of the
Moche elite who ruled 1700 years ago and marks a milestone in the history of the country.
PIRAMIDS OF TÚCUME: It is located 33 km north of Chiclayo; it is an extensive archaeological complex at the foot of the hill El Purgatorio or La Raya, where you can see 25 pyramids.
In this visit, we will visit the huaca Las Estacas, Mirador, Huaca Larga among others and the Site Museum.

Huaca Rajada
Huaca Rajada, also known as Sipán, is an archaeological complex initially occupied by the Moche culture and later by the Lambayeque culture, in the north of Peru, made up of a group of pyramids or huacas.
Tucume
Tucume is also known as the Valley of the Pyramids, with 26 large pyramids rising from the plain of the Lambayeque Valley.
The largest and most impressive pyramids are: Huaca Larga, the Temple of the Sacred Stone and Huaca Las Balsas, are located in the northeastern sector of Tucume.
