Route 2-B: Lower Terrace

What is this route like?
Route 2-B includes the lower terrace within the Classic Machupicchu circuit and continues through sectors of the Inka city. It combines a view of the site with an archaeological visit along the authorised trail.
The lower terrace is not the lower sector of circuit 3. This route still belongs to circuit 2 and has its own viewpoint and itinerary. Compare its trail with route 2-A without assuming either offers access to the entire city.

What this route does not include
- Climbs to Machupicchu Mountain or Waynapicchu.
- The Intipunku, Inka Bridge, Great Cavern and Huchuypicchu routes.
