What is this route like?
This variant of the Panoramic circuit follows the trail to Intipunku, known as the Sun Gate. Its appeal lies in the walk, its connection to the Inka Trail entrance and the landscape views.
Visiting Intipunku on route 1-C is not the same as booking the Inka Trail. The ticket covers the itinerary shown on this route's map and does not include the urban walk through Machu Picchu.
