Day 02: Lima – Full City Tour

Modern Lima: We begin with a visit to Miraflores, enjoying a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center from the 4th century A.D. Then, we head to the Love Park on the cliffside boardwalk overlooking the Pacific Ocean, passing by El Olivar Park in San Isidro.
Colonial Lima: Tour through the Historic Center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visit San Martín Square, the Main Square, Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, Cathedral, and City Hall.
We then enter the 17th-century San Francisco Convent, where you’ll see the ancient library, choir, main cloisters, and the famous underground catacombs. You may choose to stay at Larcomar or return to the hotel.

Day 03: Lima – Puerto Maldonado – Jungle
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Capital of Biodiversity in Peru, you will be greeted by a representative of our travel agency at the airport.
We will then head to Puerto Capitanía, where our boat will be waiting to take us to the lodge. During the journey, you will see rural farms dedicated to agricultural activities near the city. If the weather is favorable, you will also spot colorful plants such as giant-flowered heliconias and have the chance to observe wildlife like capybaras, caimans, river turtles, herons, cormorants, kingfishers, and birds of prey.
Upon arrival at our lodge, you will be welcomed and escorted to your comfortable room. Once settled in, lunch will be served in our cozy dining area. In the afternoon, we will begin our jungle excursions.

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time to begin the visit to the Sacred Valley.
During the tour, we will visit the town of Pisac; a picturesque colonial town of mixed heritage. On Sundays, Mass is celebrated in Quechua. Then we proceed to the archaeological complex of Pisac , where we can observe large agricultural terraces.
We pass through the towns of Coya, Lamay, Calca, and Urubamba.
In Urubamba, we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
In the afternoon, we will have a guided tour of Ollantaytambo village, home to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park — a massive agricultural, social, administrative, religious, and military complex during the Tahuantinsuyo era.
