On this tour, excursion you will see and discover the various stages of Bolivia’s past. From the Mesozoic era with the appearance of the dinosaurs and giant mammals until the Colonial Era.

Tarija is located in a beautiful and wide valley that has a pleasant climate, abundant fruit and delicious food all year round. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Tarija – Walk through the city – Peña Folklórica (A)

Reception by our representative at the Tarija airport, then transfer to the selected hotel, Is better the morning flight. Our representative will assist you, for take you to the hotel.

At the right time we will take you to a very good restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon we will get to know Tarija through its history and culture.

Then you will visit to the most relevant places in the city such as: “La Casa Dorada”, we will pass through the main square “Luis de Fuentes”, we will also take you a tour of the Mirador de los Sueños “La Copa del Vino or El mirador de los Héroes ̈ You will walk through green areas and viewpoints that characterize the city so much, which will allow us to discover its wide and elegant avenues that border the poetic Guadalquivir River. Then return to the hotel.

At night we will take you to visit a bohemian, authentic place with exceptional decoration and the best musicians, who will play cuecas, zambas, chacareras, to spend an unforgettable evening. Then you return to the Hotel.

Day 2: San Jacinto – Vineyards – Old House (D)

After Breakfast, you will visit the San Jacinto. An attraction of great importance for its high-tech infrastructure. You go to walk along the shores of the lagoon, to appreciate the beautiful panoramic view of the region in turn taste the fish varieties offered by the dam such as: Misquinchitos, Carpas, Doraditos, Churumas, Cangrejitos, etc.

Then, later you go to visit one of our most impressive natural attractions, the narrow natural La Angostura Canyon that is located between rock formations and where it gives rise to the confluence of the Guadalquivir and Camacho Rivers.

Then we go to the Valley of La Concepción to visit “La Casa Vieja- old house”, a mysterious winery that keeps the detail of its wines that make Tarija proud.

Day 3: San Lorenzo – Moto Mendez Monument – Coimata – Transfer to the Airport (D)

After breakfast, you begin the tours to the Chapaca Countryside: Visit to the Town of San Lorenzo, where the culture, folklore and tradition of the Chapaco Man are born.

Later we go to visit or observe from the outskirts the Eustaquio Méndez “El Moto” house, now converted into a National Museum, a tour of the church and the market for the typical blanched donuts and pies.

Continuing with the excursion tour, we will arrive at “Coimata”, a place of singular natural beauty, where you can enjoy the peaceful climate, of the Tarijeño Valley, enjoy its crystalline waters, walks along its trails to appreciate its different waterfalls that this beautiful attraction has. Then we will transfer you directly to the airport, for you take your flight back, for your next destination.

The rates valid for Peruvians only include IGV

All our rates are subject to availability and changes.

Children under 02 years and 11 months are considered INF (babies), do not pay any service and do not have the right to food, bed or seat on the tours.

What is the Tarija Wine Route?

What is a wine strain?

The vine is the trunk of the vine (plant) from which the shoots or branches, the leaves and the fruits sprout. Now, it is common to hear about the Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Etc. The truth of things is that wine varieties are also known as vinification strains.

Moto Méndez Monument

It corresponds to the house in which the famous guerrilla or hero of independence, Colonel Eustaquio Méndez Arenas, lived. Currently declared a National Monument, a historical museum is installed in its premises.

Why is it called Moto Méndez?

Méndez is a great Tarijeño hero. Nowadays, what was his house, in San Lorenzo, is a museum much visited by local tourists. He came from a Creole family of landowners. He lost his arm in an accident, which is why he was nicknamed “Moto”, which means one-armed.

When was Moto Méndez born?

Eustaquio Méndez Arenas, known as “Moto Méndez” for having only one arm, was born in Churquihuayco, San Lorenzo (Tarija), in September 1784.
