How to book and buy tickets to Machu Picchu?
Access the website of the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Please be patient as the site may take time to load. You can change the language to Portuguese by clicking on the Brazilian flag in the upper right corner.
Choose the places you want to visit: at the top of the calendar, before closing, choose first or visit the place. You must decide if you want to visit Machu Picchu or visit the Manuel Chávez museum. The Manuel Chávez Ballon Museum is a small museum that is worth seeing before visiting Machu Picchu. It has some artifacts with descriptions in several languages and it is located near Águas Calientes. Then you have to choose the route.
Places: here you can choose if you want to visit only the citadel of Machu Picchu, or if you also want to visit the Huayna Picchu mountain or the Machu Picchu mountain.

When all these steps are completed, click “Generate Reservation”. You will now see some pop-ups including the booking form. This is important, so do not close the window, as the ticket has not yet been paid! Check the reservation number generated on the page and copy it. Then select the “Payment” tab on the main panel, which will take you to a new page.
