We will travel towards the Pachacamac Sanctuary. Once there, we will visit the main structures of the complex and learn all about this majestic archaeological site.
Upon arrival at the Pachacamac Archaeological Site, we will enjoy a guided tour of the splendid and extensive archaeological citadel of Pachacamac. This sanctuary was dedicated to the god Pachacamac, the creator of the universe, a deity worshipped by ancient Andean cultures.
The citadel includes temples, pyramids, and palaces. Highlights include the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacamac, and the “Acllahuasi” or Palace of the Chosen Women of the Sun, among others. The entire site was considered sacred and part of the mystical axis of the world.
After the Pachacamac tour, we will stop in the district of Barranco. Our visit includes a tour of the traditional and bohemian neighborhood of Barranco, where the famous Bridge of Sighs stands out.
We continue the tour through Salto del Fraile and Villa Marsh, enjoying spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
Once the excursion ends, we will return you to your hotel so you can have lunch and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
IMPORTANT: The tour schedule will be confirmed at the destination.
