Ancestral Lima: We begin our Lima City Tour with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana Pyramid, a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD and considered a “sacred village” by the Incas.
Colonial Lima: We will visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will admire more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, especially Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Basilica Cathedral, the Municipal Palace, among others.
Next, we will continue with a visit to the Central Reserve Bank Museum, where you will enjoy the Treasures of Peru Collection, a select exhibition of gold, ceramic, and textile objects from various pre-Columbian cultures.
Likewise, you will visit the Monumental Complex of San Francisco, the largest display of colonial religious art in the Americas. The highlight of the visit is its underground crypts, known as the Catacombs.
The Central Reserve Bank Museum is closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It is also closed all day on Mondays.
Discover Lima’s most traditional residential areas, including El Olivar in San Isidro, Miraflores, and Larcomar.
