At the agreed time, pick-up from the accommodation and departure from Rurrenabaque by land transport. The journey will take approximately 3 hours, passing through the cattle towns of Reyes and Santa Rosa del Yacuma. Along the way, it is possible to observe animals and birds typical of the Pampas. In Santa Rosa, you will pay the entrance fee to the Municipal Protected Area, followed by arrival at the port.
We continue by river transport along the Yacuma River to our lodge. The journey will take approximately 3 hours, sailing slowly to allow wildlife observation, including lizards, caimans, capybaras, monkeys, turtles, and various birds. The guide will provide the necessary information.
Arrival at the eco-lodge, where you will relax in hammocks and enjoy a refreshing welcome juice typical of the region while rooms are assigned.
We will go to a strategic spot to watch the sunset and then return to the lodge.
Buffet dinner at the dining area. After dinner, we will take a boat ride with the engine off and flashlights to observe the eyes of caimans, crocodiles, and nocturnal birds. The guide will explain the differences between them.
