Arequipa

Arequipa is located at an altitude of 2,325 m in the mountains of the Andean desert. This beautiful city is built almost entirely of sillar, a type of white volcanic stone. This is why Arequipa is called the White City. With around one million inhabitants, Arequipa is the second largest city in Peru. Its main square, the Plaza de Armas, is one of the most beautiful in the country. The Cathedral is magnificent, and the shopping arcades are in colonial style.

Puno

Puno is a city in southern Peru located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, one of the largest lakes in South America and the highest navigable body of water in the world. It is also considered the “folkloric capital” of Peru due to its traditional festivals featuring lively music and dance performances. Iconic sites include Puno Cathedral, an Andean baroque-style building, and the 19th-century steamship Yavarí (currently operating as a hostel).

Cusco

Cusco is a city located in the province and region of the same name. It is the capital of the department in which it is located and is also considered the Historical Capital of Peru, known as the “navel of the world.” The undisputed archaeological capital of the Americas, Cusco is the oldest continuously inhabited city on the continent.
