We begin the Humantay Lake Full-Day Tour with hotel pick-up between 4:30 and 4:45 a.m., followed by a journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to the town of Mollepata, one of the classic stops on trips to Cusco that combine nature and adventure. There, we will take a break to enjoy breakfast.
Afterwards, we continue our journey for another 1 hour and 30 minutes to Soraypampa, passing through spectacular landscapes dominated by the imposing Salkantay Mountain. From this key point of the Salkantay route, we will begin the hike to Humantay Lake, a trek of 1 to 2 hours while enjoying panoramic views of snow-capped mountains, a wide variety of flora and fauna, and a truly breathtaking natural environment.
Upon arrival at Humantay Lake (4,200 m.a.s.l.), we will be amazed by the intense turquoise color of its waters, formed by the melting snow of the Andean range. Here, we will have time to rest, take photos, and connect with nature.
After exploring Humantay Lake, we will descend on foot back to Soraypampa, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Mollepata for lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, we will conclude the Humantay Lake Tour with our return to Cusco, arriving approximately at 6:30 p.m., ending an unforgettable day for those who enjoy tours in Cusco and are looking for a different experience beyond Machu Picchu.
