A representative from our travel agency will welcome you at the Iquitos International Airport, assist you, and transfer you to our office in Iquitos.
There, you will receive a brief introduction about the itinerary, our services, what you should and should not do in the rainforest, as well as some important tips.
After a short wait, you will be transferred to the Nanay Pier, where we will board one of our typical boats called Pamacari, which will take you to the lodge. Depending on the river season, the transfer may also be done by speedboat.
Along the route upstream on the Nanay River and the Momon River, both tributaries of the Amazon River, we will visit the Bora Native Community, where we will have the opportunity to share their customs, dances, and traditional handicrafts.
Then, we will continue our fantastic adventure until we reach the tourist viewpoint, a 30-meter-high tower built on the highest part of a hill in the Independence community. From there, we will be able to admire the majestic Amazon River in all its splendor.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be welcomed with a natural fruit drink. Your expert guide will give you a brief orientation about the lodge before you settle into your room. Then, we will enjoy lunch.
Afterward, we will begin an artisanal fishing tour, where experienced fishing lovers will feel the excitement of catching piranhas and other varieties of fish. Later, we will return to the lodge for dinner.
At night, the most adventurous travelers will have the opportunity to join a night walk around the lodge to search for and observe tarantulas, fireflies, small caimans, and other nocturnal species of the Amazon.
Overnight: Lodge.
