Reception at the airport and transfer to the lodge, where you will be welcomed with a delicious cocktail or tropical juice.
We will board an outboard motorboat and travel for approximately 2 hours along the Tambopata River to the Lodge & Research Center. A box lunch will be provided along the route.
During the journey, we will observe local farms and different species of birds. We may also have the opportunity to see families of capybaras, the largest rodents in the world.
Upon arrival, reception and accommodation at the lodge.
After a short rest, we will take a night excursion into the forest to observe and listen to insects, bats, frogs, and perhaps have an occasional encounter with other nocturnal mammals.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
The diverse sounds of the rainforest will accompany our first night at the lodge. Lunch and dinner included.
