The program includes a full visit of experiences to the two most important attractions of the region: the impressive Macaw Collpa in the Bahuaja – Sonene National Park and the paradise Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata – Candamo Reserved Zone, in addition to possible encounters with wild animals. DAY 01: TRANSFER TO WASAÍ TAMBOPATA LODGE
Reception at the airport and transfer to WASAI Maldonado Ecolodge, where you will receive our welcome with a delicious cocktail or tropical juice. We will board a boat with an outboard motor and transfer for approximately 04:00 hours along the Tambopata River, to the WASAI Tambopata Lodge & Research Center (Box lunch on the route). During the trip we will observe the farms of settlers and birds of various species. Opportunity to see on the way families of capybaras, the largest rodents in the world. Reception, accommodation at the Lodge. After a short rest, we will make a night visit and enter the interior of the forest to observe and hear insects, frog bats, and perhaps some occasional encounter with other nocturnal mammals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. The diverse sounds of the jungle will accompany our first night in the Amazon.

DAY 02: VISIT MACAW CLAY LICK
Very early we will get up early (04:30 a.m.) and have a light coffee or mate to start our 40-minute journey upriver to the Macaw Collpa of Chuncho, in the Bahuaja Sonene National Park. We will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful natural scenery and wildlife on the banks of the Tambopata River. Upon arrival, according to weather conditions allow us to observe one of the greatest wildlife shows: hundreds of Parrots and Macaws of various species descending to feed on the mud of a hillside, an experience you will never forget! Afterwards, we will cross the river beach in search of animal tracks while having a snack. At mid morning, we will return to the Lodge to have breakfast and enjoy free time (approximately 02 hours), whether to rest, do adventure activities such as zip lines, tree climbing course, etc. or of the facilities and amenities that Wasaí offers. At 11:00 am. we will cross the river by boat (approximately 10 minutes), to enjoy the Gato Waterfall, and take a refreshing swim in a “Natural Jacuzzi”. Optionally, we will try to fish some of the more than 250 species of fish that inhabit the area or go kayaking or canoeing in the river.
After a traditional lunch, we will go into the jungle doing a botanical Ethno walk through the trails of Tambopata, learning about the medicinal plants and trees of the area, and observing the impressive ecosystem of the Amazon, where we can see walking palm trees, lupunas Millennials (trees), snakes, etc. At dusk, we will take a night boat ride in search of alligators. Dinner.

DAY 03: VISIT LAKE SANDOVAL
After having breakfast, we will begin our return by the Tambopata river towards the WASAÍ Maldonado Ecolodge, place where we will leave our luggage, we will have lunch and we will have a rest briefly. Then we will travel again by boat for 30 minutes to Lake Sandoval. We will have a walk of 03 km to the shores of the lake where we will board a canoe to take a rowing trip, enjoying the beauty of the landscape and observing the wildlife of the lake, such as Kingfishers, herons, monkeys, exotic birds with a little luck we will see the family of river wolves (giant otters) that inhabit the lake. We will have the opportunity to bathe in the waters of the lake safely. We will observe the transition from day to night, progressively the sounds of birds and diurnal insects will give way to the sounds of the night. Then we will begin the return to the Madre de Dios River and Puerto Maldonado. After dinner we can rest or walk around the city on foot or by bicycle, rest of the night free to enjoy the nightlife of this cozy city.

DAY 04: TRANSFER OUT
A farewell breakfast and free morning until transfer to the airport.
