World Heritage Sites"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There are currently 1,052 properties located in 165\ncountries on the <strong>UNESCO World Heritage <\/strong>List.\nIt is an open List in which new goods of exceptional universal value are added\neach year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>UNESCO World\nHeritage <\/strong>Convention recognizes three types of property:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Cultural assets:<\/strong> are the monuments, ensembles or places that have exceptional universal value from the point of view of history, art, science, anthropology or ethnology.<\/li><li>N<strong>atural assets:<\/strong> are natural monuments, geological formations or natural places that have an exceptional universal value from an aesthetic, scientific, conservation or natural beauty point of view.<\/li><li><strong>Mixed goods:<\/strong> are those that have cultural and natural elements of exceptional universal
