border with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dreamy.tours\/en\/bolivia\/\">Bolivia<\/a><\/strong>, with about 3,000 inhabitants, it is located in the Altiplano region of Chile with Bolivia, from where you area&#8217;s many attractions, accessible at an altitude of 4300 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With lagoons, rivers and meadows over an area of 49 square kilometres, the eroded terrain offers a fabulous spectacle as the rolling terrain and volcanoes coexist with native populations of animals and plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, it is common to find bofedales, coirones, paja amarilla, tolas amaja and tolas de agua, flamingos, vicu\u00f1as, chululos, culpeos foxes, chorlos de la puna, jerg\u00f3n ducks and Andean seagulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" for stargazing. Far from being a lifeless place, this vast expanse of northern Chile abounds with natural riches such as numerous geysers, deep blue lagoons, oases and volcanoes. These transparent turquoise lagoons, of impressive contrast, are small heavenly eyes that expose the interior of the Cordillera de la Sal and Domeyko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this wonderful place we will take the road from the centre of<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dreamy.tours\/en\/bolivia\/san-pedro-of-atacama-salar-dof-uyuni-4-days\/\"> San Pedro de Atacama<\/a><\/strong> towards Calama, approximately 13 km away you will find the crossroads leading to the &#8220;Llano de la Paciencia&#8221; to the south to continue for another 45 km on a very basic road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like Laguna Cejar, the high salinity of the water in the Baltinache Lagoons allows your body to float effortlessly.
