No two leaves are ever the same. Like all Marantas it folds its leaves upward each evening and opens them again in the morning.
Good for beginners? It requires more attention than basic plants. As a variegated Maranta it is somewhat more sensitive than the standard variety and needs consistent moisture and some humidity to look its best.

Light needs: Bright indirect light keeps the variegation most vivid and the chocolate spotting most defined. It tolerates medium light but the creamy variegation becomes less expressive. Avoid direct sun which will bleach the delicate pattern.
